OHM and Frequency School Launch Music Studio and Wellness Lab at Tibetan Children’s Village in Dharamshala Through Strategic Collaboration
OHM and Frequency School have partnered with Tibetan Children’s Village in Dharamshala to launch a music studio and wellness lab integrating mindfulness, education, and creative development. The initiative combines digital curriculum, sound-based learning, and youth empowerment to support emotional resilience and global creative expression.
The initiative is designed to integrate music creation, mindfulness education, and wellness-based learning within a shared developmental ecosystem focused on youth empowerment and holistic growth.
The collaboration reflects OHM’s philosophy that creativity, awareness, and community form the foundation of human flourishing. By aligning Frequency School’s mindfulness and wellness education platform with OHM’s awareness and wellbeing practices, the initiative aims to create a structured environment that combines ancient philosophical principles with contemporary scientific understanding.
At the core of the partnership is OHM’s proprietary digital curriculum, a self-paced educational framework incorporating universal spirituality, nervous system awareness, systems thinking, conscious technology literacy, and the integration of science and spirituality. The program is designed to enhance clarity, emotional resilience, and self-awareness among participants through globally accessible learning modules.
The initiative also introduces OHM’s non-invasive frequency-based longevity support system, developed under the guidance of biophysics researcher Dr. Jeff Sutherland, PhD. The protocols are intended to support nervous system regulation, recovery, and overall wellbeing, with a focus on healthy cellular communication and balance within the body’s natural energy system for all participants.
Sathi Roy, Founder of Our Highest Mantra and a first-generation Bengali American, emphasized the deeper intent behind the collaboration. “This partnership reflects our belief that human flourishing begins with connection to self, community, creativity, and meaning. Supporting an initiative that gives back to India while uplifting the Tibetan Children’s Village carries deep personal significance. Dharamshala provides a unique cultural and spiritual environment for this initiative. By integrating music, conscious education, and supportive environments, we aim to foster emotional resilience, creativity, and self-awareness among young people,” she said.
The concept for the initiative emerged during the production of the documentary Empathy: The Pursuit of Joy – A Hero’s Journey, which brought Maejor and Frequency School together at the Tibetan Children’s Village campus. Executive Producer Dr. Natalie Petouhoff and Director Josh Sikkema described the program as a real-world extension of the film’s central theme that meaningful human connection arises from being seen, heard, and acknowledged.
During a workshop filmed on campus, a student expressed a desire to pursue music but lacked access to the necessary tools and guidance. This moment became the catalyst for the initiative, which now provides students with computers, digital audio workstation software, and hands-on instruction in music production and recording. Selected student-created music will also contribute to the film’s global soundbath soundtrack, offering young creators an international platform.
OHM’s educational framework is further integrated into Frequency School’s Impact Initiative, which combines mindfulness, wellness, and creative development through sound-based learning. The program is designed to establish music studios and wellness labs in underserved communities to address gaps in education and wellbeing.
Maejor, Founder of Frequency School, stated, “Our goal is to provide young people with practical tools to explore sound as both a therapeutic and educational medium, fostering mindfulness, creativity, and inner balance. Dharamshala, long regarded as a global spiritual crossroads, offers a natural setting for this initiative.”
Tsering Dorjee, Director of Upper Tibetan Children’s Village, described the initiative as a transformative development for students. “This music studio represents a meaningful evolution of the energy experienced on campus during the Empathy documentary project. It provides students with direct ownership of their creative expression, transforming classroom learning into a practical, hands-on experience,” he said.
The initiative further provides students with access to creative infrastructure including recording equipment, computers, monitors, speakers, and digital audio workstation software, enabling them to develop technical and artistic skills in a professional learning environment.
As the program expands, Dharamshala is positioned as a potential global model for integrating music, mindfulness, education, and technology to support youth development and long-term wellbeing.
Both OHM and Frequency School continue to pursue fundraising efforts aimed at expanding coherence-based wellness and creative development programs across global communities, alongside the development of additional technology-enabled creative hubs.
